At WobeStudios, our goal is simple: deliver work you’re proud to share. Because most of our services are time-based and digital (recordings, edits, photos, videos), we use a refund policy that’s fair to both clients and our creative team. Please read this page carefully, it forms part of our Terms of Service.


Quick Summary (TL;DR)

  • Deposits secure your slot and are non-refundable once the booking is confirmed.
  • Free reschedule if you request ≥48 hours before your session.
  • Late cancellations/no-shows are chargeable.
  • Digital deliverables (mixes, masters, edits, photos) are non-returnable, but we include revision rounds to get things right.
  • If we cause a material service failure (equipment or staffing), you get a free reschedule or full credit.
  • Physical items (prints/merch) can be returned/exchanged under the conditions below.

1) Bookings, Deposits & Payments

  • Deposit: A 30% deposit is required to confirm any booking (recording, shoot, video, podcast, drone, event coverage).
  • Balance: Due on delivery of proofs/masters, or per milestone for larger projects (detailed in your invoice).
  • Pricing currency: Nigerian Naira (₦). All taxes/fees are shown at checkout.

Note: Deposits are non-refundable because we reserve space, crew, and gear for you and turn away other work.


2) Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Additional reschedules beyond one (1) may incur a ₦10,000 fee each time.
  • If we need to reschedule (illness, equipment failure, force majeure), you can reschedule free or take a 100% studio credit for future use.

3) Service-Specific Refund Rules

A) Recording Sessions (Covers, Vocals, Instruments)

  • Time used is time billed. Early endings do not trigger refunds.
  • Engineering quality: If a technical fault on our side ruins a take (e.g., file corruption), we’ll re-record at no charge.

B) Mixing & Mastering

  • Digital goods are non-refundable.
  • Your package includes up to 2 revision rounds (unless otherwise stated).
  • If you change the arrangement/production after mixing begins, that is out of scope and may require a new quote.

C) Beat Creation / Production

  • Non-refundable after concept approval or once stems/tracked parts are delivered.
  • Licensing terms are specified on your invoice/producer agreement.

D) Photo/Video Shoots (Studio & On-Location)

  • Digital deliverables are non-refundable, but we include selects + revisions per your package.
  • Weather/venue issues: we’ll reschedule (no fee) if conditions make the planned shoot impossible or unsafe.

E) Events Coverage & Live Recording

  • Retainers are non-refundable after crew scheduling and pre-production.
  • If the event is cancelled by the client, standard cancellation windows apply (see Section 2).

F) Drone/Aerial Services

  • Flights depend on permits, weather, and safety. If a planned flight can’t proceed for safety/legal reasons, we reschedule free or offer 100% credit.
  • If you cancel after permits/clearances are paid, those third-party costs are non-refundable.

G) Podcast Recording & Editing

  • Non-refundable after recording has occurred or editing work has begun.
  • Includes basic cleanup & leveling and 1–2 revisions (per package).

4) Revisions, Re-Edits & Fixes

  • Each package includes a stated number of revision rounds (e.g., 2 rounds). A “round” is one compiled list of changes.
  • Additional revisions are billed at the current hourly rate or a flat per-round fee (as quoted).
  • Minor technical fixes caused by us are free. Creative changes (new cut, different grade, new arrangement) are chargeable.

5) Turnaround, Rush Fees & Missed Deadlines

  • Standard turnarounds are shown on your quote (e.g., mixes 2–5 business days, photo galleries 48–72 hours, video edits 3–10 business days).
  • Rush delivery may be available at +20% of the service rate.
  • If we miss a confirmed deadline by >48 hours (not caused by late client feedback/materials), you may receive a partial credit at our discretion.

6) File Delivery, Data Retention & Re-Downloads

  • Final assets are delivered via secure download links.
  • Retention: We keep session files and finals for 90 days after delivery. Long-term archiving is not guaranteed.
  • Re-downloads/re-exports after 90 days may incur a retrieval fee if files are archived or need to be rebuilt.

7) Third-Party Costs & Venues

  • Permits, location fees, props, stylists, makeup, talent, or rentals paid to third parties are non-refundable once booked.
  • If you cancel, you remain responsible for any non-recoverable third-party costs incurred on your behalf.

8) Physical Products (Prints, Albums, Merch)

  • Returns accepted within 7 days of delivery for manufacturing defects (print lines, color shift beyond proof, damage in transit).
  • Items must be unused and in original packaging.
  • We’ll replace or reprint the item; if replacement isn’t possible, we’ll issue a store credit.
  • Custom items (bespoke albums, framed prints) are non-refundable unless defective.

9) How to Request a Refund, Credit, or Reschedule

  1. Email [Email] with your name, invoice number, project title, and a short description.
  2. Attach evidence if relevant (screenshots, sample audio/video, photos).
  3. We’ll respond within 1–2 business days with next steps (troubleshooting, reschedule options, or credit eligibility).

10) Chargebacks & Disputes

Please contact us first, most issues are solvable via revisions, re-recordings, or credit. Unauthorized chargebacks will be contested with your signed quote, session logs, and delivery records.


11) Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for delays or failures due to events beyond reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, power outages, government restrictions). We’ll reschedule at the earliest safe opportunity or issue studio credit.


12) Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect best practices and legal requirements. The effective date above will change when updates occur.
